8-Tech | Specifications Galaxy Nexus  |  From SEOUL - The presence of the third generation Nexus has been officially announced by Samsung. Samsung Galaxy Nexus comes with the latest version of Google Android Ice Cream Sandwich. Galaxy Nexus, otherwise known as Nexus Prime has 4.5 features HD Super AMOLED display with 720p resolution, dual core 1.2GHz processor and 4G LTE compatible.

Smartphoone is also equipped with 1GB RAM, 16GB/32GB for internal storage, as well as having two cameras are 5MP and 1.3MP rear camera to the camera front. This phone has a thickness of 8.94mm with a minimal size is around 4.29mm. By that measure, this phone will not seem so great when it is held. Similarly, as reported by Pocket-Lint, Wednesday (19/10/2011).

This phone will have two models is HSDPA + and LTE. LTE models will exist in the United States (U.S.) and HSDPA + in the UK. In line with Shin, Senior Vice President of Google's mobile, Andy Rubin, also welcomed the new mobile phones. "Ice Cream Sandwich shows the Android platform innovation that can work on mobile phones and tablets, with features that are inside, like Android Face Beam and Unlock. Galaxy Nexus displays the power behind this Ice Cream Sandwich," said Rubin.

The phone has a user interface that has been designed to improve multi-tasking, notifications, Wi-Fi, NFC support and web browsing. Galaxy Nexus comes with software navigation buttons and this is the first time for Android Smartphones. The camera feature Galaxy Nexus has been designed to bring the panorama mode, 1080p video capture, zero-shutter lag, as well as effects like silly faces and can replace the background.

Galaxy Nexus will be available in the United States (U.S.), Europe and Asia in November and will gradually be released to the world.

8-Tech | Japanese Scientists Develop Robot 'thinker' | From TOKYO - Scientists in Japan are developing a robot that can think for themselves, to do a thing else that is not programmed into them. As quoted by AFP on Tuesday (11/10/2011), formerly a robot that can think for themselves and solve problems is something that is not possible, now it may soon become a reality. Scientists in Japan are currently working on a robot that can teach itself utnk doing things that are not programmed in advance, also by using objects that have not been seen by the robots.

Robots are being developed thinkers themselves called Self-Organizing Incremental Neural Network (SOINN). Osamu Haegawa, Associte Professor of Tokyo Institute of Technology, is developing ebuah system that allows robots to see things around them, and do research through the internet, as well as allowing them to think the best solution to solve their problems. "Previously there were many good robots in terms of processing, but there was little they know about the 'real world'. Haegawa said.

Google Chrome Releases Remote Desktop Features

8-Tech | Google Chrome Releases Remote Desktop Features | Google Chrome has finally released a feature that can connect two computers together using Chrome browser. Products that integrate the functions of the remote desktop on the Chrome browser is designed for its users, who do not trust a third party vendor which has also been offering a similar service.

Google Chrome is a free feature called 'Chrome Remote Desktop', launched in beta and allows connecting two computers that have an existing Chrome browser on Windows, Linux, Mac and Chromebooks, as reported by Tech Central, Tuesday (10/11/2011).

Remote Desktop can access all data on computers and to access the user's computer will give the code to others. This code is an authentication that must be done each time access is granted. In its release, Google said the feature is very useful for people who need technical assistance from IT technicians far-flung location.

Other products that also provides access to a computer such as Chrome is TeamViewer Remote Desktop and a website that is join.me which also provided free of charge. Google said the purpose of this beta release is to demonstrate the function of "Chrome Remoting Technology" and to see how the response from its users later.
